The Brief
As Lapeyre's dedicated agency partner, Agence Gutenberg managed a wide range of print communication projects, from internal product documentation to nationwide catalogues and point-of-sale materials.
Working within a seven-person team dedicated exclusively to the account, I supported the production of large-scale editorial and commercial assets used across the company's stores, sales teams, and marketing operations. The work required coordinating multiple stakeholders, managing large volumes of information, and ensuring every piece of content moved smoothly from briefing to final production.
Behind The Scenes
I began by independently managing the annual update of four technical product reference books, each containing hundreds of pages and contributions from numerous product managers across different departments.
My role involved collecting and clarifying revisions, coordinating with designers, reviewing corrections, managing approval cycles, and ensuring every update was accurately integrated before publication.
As production cycles evolved, I expanded my responsibilities across customer-facing catalogues, promotional brochures, in-store communication materials, and product launches. I regularly coordinated between product teams, creative teams, photographers, and production stakeholders while helping keep multiple parallel projects on schedule.
The Final Cut
This experience gave me first-hand exposure to the realities of high-volume production management: balancing deadlines, coordinating multiple contributors, tracking hundreds of modifications, and maintaining consistency across large-scale communication projects.
It strengthened my ability to manage complex workflows, anticipate bottlenecks, and keep projects moving forward even when priorities shifted. Most importantly, it taught me how much structure, communication, and attention to detail are required behind work that appears effortless once it reaches the final page.
